Haygen's Surgery

As you all probably know that Haygen just recently had surgery on Thursday. He had tubes put in his ears and his adnoids taken out, the doctor said his adnoids were 40% larger than normal. He has slept alot since then but they did have some trouble with his stimulator during the surgery so I'm not sure if thats the reason why he has been so sleepy or if its the weather or if he is just worn out. But other than that he seems to be doing okWe have made a few trips back to ACH since the last time that I've updated and one of the trips they tested his hearing and Praise the LORD he passed!!! I was very worried since they gave me the shocking news of his blindness. I will try and update more often but my oldest son is playing football now so its very busy busy. Please remember to not take things for granted not even the little things in life. As I still dont know what to expect from day to day. I had a perfectly normal baby and then one day out of nowhere he began to have seizures and now to this. Always tell your loved ones you love them everyday. Please continue to pray for Haygen, Zan and me. Thank you and God Bless,Michelle

Surgery

Haygen will be having tubes put in his ears in September. The doctors said that keeping ear infections sometimes triggers seizures. Never heard that. He seems to be adjusting well with this new medicine. I am really proud that it hasn't caused him to be in pain when he has seizures. He seems more alert with this medicine and he is holding his self up better and I am so happy. Thank you all for all the prayers. Please keep praying for my little man.God Bless,Michelle

We had a very rough morning. Haygen was very unresponsive this morning but they gave him new meds before we came home. Not sure if that was what was wrong. But he is up and playing now after a power nap!!

Haygen

He has also been put in a wheelchair and he will have to be in one for the rest of his life. He can not talk or even chew his food. He will not get any better and we are praying that in the months to come that he doesnt become worse.

Haygen

Haygen is 3 years old. He began having 20 to 40 seizures daily when he was 18 months old. Just this following week he was diagnosed with Lennox-Gastuat Syndrome. There is no cure for this syndrome. He was also diagnosed as blind. Please continue to pray for Haygen!!
