Haygen Walking

This is a very happy day for Haygen baby!!! In February 2008 he began having seizures daily!! That was 20 to 100 seizures DAILY and in July 2009 he was diagnosed with Lennox Gastuast Syndrome, blindness and was put in a wheelchair because he had lost all mobile skills and was functioning on a 2 month old level. Today he is 4 years old and functions on a 7 month old level!! YAY!! And now this!!! This is so very exciting because the doctors told us he would NEVER get any better!!! Well, I guess we know who the real doctor in charge is now huh??

Haygen on wrong medicine

Haygen has seizures and if you havent been following his story Haygen has been having seizures since he was 18 months old and he had been having 20 to 100 seizures per day!! Yes, thats what right a DAY not a week or a month but a day!!! And he never cried with all of them until he got put on this new medicine for LGS. It was horrible!! And as a mother there is nothing that you can do you are just completely helpless!!! Thats the worst feeling in the world!!!

Haygen and Zan

I know all of the pictures and videos are all out of order but I am trying to catch up and then I will keep up and keep it up to date. Sorry for not keeping it up to date sooner!!!

Sadness

As you all may know my friend lost her sweet angel baby Margot Friday. I have cried all weekend long for her and her family. And it has been for lots of reasons but one reason is knowing that could have been Haygen getting choked on his food before he got his feeding tube. Because everything he was eating and drinking was going to his lungs. My heart breaks for Carissa and her family.

Zan and Haygen

Zan is the best biggest brother EVER!!!!! Haygen couldn't hold his bottle so Zan propped it up for him with his baseball helmet!!! He is so funny but he loves his brother and he takes care of him!!!!

Update on Haygen

He has done very well since he has gotten the Gtube placed!! It has worked wonders for him!! That and Memphis taking him off of the Keppra he was on and lots of answered prayers!!! He can hold his head up and sit up really good by his self now!! Yay Im so happy!! His facial expressions and everything about him just looks SO good, its just amazing!! Its like I have a different child. He still laughs alot which is so wonderful but he doesnt sleep very well!! :( But Im just happy that everything else is good!!
I did get a letter from Memphis last week about one of the test results that had came in and it was the one for the Rhett's syndrome!! He does NOT have Rhett's!! Praise the Lord!!! I will try an update more when I hear from Memphis again or after we go to Little Rock next week!! Thank you all for the prayers because they are being answered!!! Love to all!!
